HB 4156 is anti-immigrant and remains unconstitutional. No court in the country has upheld laws like this one, and the district court’s injunction here was never overturned, merely sidestepped.

State officials that seek to enforce it are taking a considerable risk in doing so. We will be closely and seriously monitoring attempts to enforce HB 4156 in spite of a federal court’s unambiguous holding that the statute is likely unconstitutional.
