TBH, it's tiring that people are expected to hype the heck out of everything they do now. Go on a fellowship, speak on a panel, do some outreach work - hype it up on LinkedIn, Twitter, Insta etc. I miss the days where it's enough to just quietly focus on our core work.

I've opened a bluesky account. Hit me up at cindilse.bsky.social . Will also gradually leave Twitter when most people have also migrated there. It was good while it lasted.
