Ever tried this drill? We love it for high octane freestyle to practice the rotation, high hands, and fast tempo! It’s also a great way to challenge yourself with tempo… put your goal 50 Freestyle stroke rate into your tempo trainer and try to keep up with it between the pauses!

Many great swims last night in the season opener. Girls won both meets and the boys won 1 and lost 1. Congratulations to the boys for winning their 100th meet under Coach Dryer. Senior Captain Drew L got to see his pool record (from last year) posted

PLAYERS: It's hard to hold your teammates accountable if you are not holding yourself accountable. Do what's right. Set the standard. Be the standard. Don't just tell teammates what to do, but show them how it's done.

Here’s my “swimming is bigger than the pool” take. We teach our athletes how to find confidence through work. It’s an amazing feeling to work hard and earn something. This is where passion comes from. A kid with confidence in themselves will succeed.

To make an effective start you have to do it smoothly. You must maintain the momentum you gained from the dive and make an effective transition with the underwater kick

Missing team atmosphere when your season ends is normal. Being part of a team is a special, unique & humbling experience. Use it to guide your future. The amount of work you put into a team to contribute to its success should be the baseline for every other endeavor in your life!

Congratulations to our Teacher and Support Staff Member of the year! You are both a tremendous asset to our students.
