When I was still able to work and go to school I was training in the operating room the air wasn’t working correctly and with all my layers on I passed out.

Chronic illness is wild cos you go to the doctor for tests & instead of hoping they're clear you hope they come back showing something wrong. If there's something wrong then there's a treatment. If there's nothing on the tests then you're just stuck with the symptoms

Why aren’t disabled and chronically ill people, who have the highest risk of dying from Covid-19, prioritized when it comes to the administering of the vaccine?

Why don’t we have the language to talk about chronic illness? I say fatigue, and my Mum-friends juggling two kids think we feel the same. I have to try & explain I can’t walk, or hold my phone - they might be fatigued, I’m something else entirely. Where are the words?
