Update: Lenovo 100e/300e will be offered in both AMD and Intel options on 2020. The 500e will only be offered in Intel n4020 which is a bump of about 7% projected over last year's 500e. These units will still all be called gen 2... Let the confusion begin! #Chromebooks

Asus Chromebook news! No news is good news? Asus will continue with their c204 as their flagship Edu device for 2020 with no upgrades. There will however be a new Asus device slotted right beneath that to compete with low cost Chromebooks. #chromebook

I just benchmarked the new Lenovo 500e Gen2 V2 Chromebook with the intel n4120 processor. It benchmarks 13% faster than last year's 500e Gen2 with the n4100 processor. A bigger gain than I would have thought! #chromebook

New #chromebooks for K12 2020 have finally been added to the Google AUP site. It looks like June 2026 is the end date. Same as last year's devices. Gives districts multiple options for this year.

The new HP X360 G4 came across my desk. Benchmarks very well and has a unique storage/charge magnetic "cove" for the stylus above the keyboard. This could solve some issue in K12 with lost stylus'. Much different approach than Lenovo's 500e G3. #Chromebook Chrome Unboxed
