Gosh darn it if it isn’t my favorite genre of MLS tweet. A team account, after a modest accomplishment (like advancing in a conference quarterfinal without winning even a single game), dragging pundits who made reasonable and yet-to-be-proven-incorrect predictions.

I think the fairly clear greatest need for the Timbers this offseason is a top-quality 6/8 (depending on where they see Ayala’s fit). That’s a difficult profile to fill, though, with these assets. Going to take some really sharp work from Grabavoy and company. #RCTID

Largely agree with Matt’s analysis of the Timbers’ season. One other bit about the Timbers’ attack: It’s low-key old. Both Mora and Jona will be 32 next year. If they see any regression from them and can’t patch things up with Evander…yiiiiiikes. #RCTID
