If I ever spoke to my Conservative Group on Enfield Council this way I’d be out as Leader within a week. Leadership is about respecting colleagues, taking on board their views and coming to a decision together. Enfield Labour act the same way as Reform in Kent.

We are supposed to be a ‘free speech’ tolerant country. I believe someone was questioned because by wearing his Star of David necklace he could have antagonised ‘free Palestine’ demonstrators. Enough of this nonsense.

Amazing session today for the Hendon by-election in Barnet! Rock solid on the doors. People have had enough of Labour and are ready to show it at the ballot box! It’s a two horse race between us and Labour! Vote Conservative!

The difference couldn’t be clearer: Labour don’t have the backbone required to improve Britain’s economy. Meanwhile we have a plan to cut £47 billion of spending, abolish stamp duty and build a stronger economy.

Tonight we're forcing Labour to vote on their plan to release dangerous criminals onto our streets earlier. Labour MPs will have to decide whether they've got the backbone to stand up to the government, and put the British people first.

Every house move means new furniture, new paint, new jobs. Abolishing Stamp Duty means £1.2 billion flowing into local businesses. Conservatives have a plan to build opportunity. Labour has a plan to tax it.

Income Tax. VAT. National Insurance. Four months ago, the PM ruled out raising these taxes. Today, he won’t. Why? Because Labour’s high taxes and out-of-control spending have wrecked the economy, and they're coming back for more. Nobody voted for this.
