Seeing some frost damage to soybeans today. Not as much damage as last year when it froze on May 22. Most likely not a re-plant situation, but will wait and see a week from now. Field was planted on May 3.

Gall midge is more aggressive than normal this year. Several checks of leaning over 10 plants resulted in four plants per check infected. This is 60 feet from the border. #gallmidge

My tractor wouldn’t start the last couple of mornings. Batteries were dead. Pulled the batteries and to my surprise they were originals. My tractor is a 2010 JD 8320R. 13 year old batteries!!!!!!
