To everyone who has engaged fairly with my reports, even when we don’t agree, I’m grateful. To the few making stuff up about me personally or saying “No one knows anything,” well, here’s a pro’s pro in Pierre LeBrun. Good luck to Mathieu, Bergy and Jarmo.

Could the #Isles future consist of one Mathieu and another Matthew? We discuss the rumored candidates, share our preferences, touch on the No. 1 pick, and more #Isles 🎧LISTEN: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/isl…

Just as he did for #Isles at the start, Lou Lamoriello would fix the Sabres. He’d help end their playoff drought. They have some great pieces. They need what Lou brings.

#Isles could have the top prospect in this year’s Draft and the person regarded as the top management prospect in the NHL, if Darche is offered the job and accepts or isn’t promoted by the Lightning. 35 minutes of fun hockey talk. Enjoy! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/isl…

Not everyone is going to love my pick on this episode of two people for NYI hockey ops jobs (of the three current, known candidates). But on the very long shot they do both, here’s my pledge: I won’t tweet anything about the #Isles for at least one year.

As mentioned last week, the sales pitches from #Isles this offseason have some added vigor. Exciting times. After they try to hire Darche (and others), will be interesting to see ticket-buying response. Exciting times.

Answer to your Q is No. Interviews continue, and they may meet with other AGM-types. I’d go with Darche + a vet, if i had my picks of current pool. Neil? With respect, no. As for breaking the news, my $ are on the fine others you cite, plus Newsday and Post.

This is beautiful. Among the areas where the Ledecky-Malkin #Isles ownership has excelled from year one is their community work. Cheers to my old/young colleague Ann Rina and her team as well. This video should be seen. Please share.

Wanted to share this reply about #Isles community efforts from Hockey Hall of Famer and one of Long Island’s great humanitarians and philanthropists, Pat LaFontaine.

Re-upping ten days later since folks now seem to be writing and talking BS 😊. Not an endorsement — just sharing. Process continues for #Isles. They’re using their time and I believe the result will be exciting.
