First time since March, the dining room was full! Only 1 person per table, but all the dining room tables plus 4 cafe tables plus 1 break room table... each had a person! Masks and social distancing observed, but I still almost felt ochlophobic.

Watched a show that included hospital, doctors, nurses dealing with Covid-19. Not a reality show - an entertainment show. WHO THE HELL DECIDED COVID-19 COULD BE ENTERTAINING!? I watch TV to escape, to dream about what used to be, to hope for what could be. 😠Don't. Just don't.😟

Instead of this back-and-forth bobbing and weaving Tomorrow the numbers may have more meaning. Tomorrow could tell us to hold our heads high Tomorrow could tell us we don't need to sigh. Tomorrow could tell us America has a chance Please, Tomorrow, give me Christmas in advance.

I’m finding in my “quarantine just in case” I’m getting very preachy. Don’t like myself that way. I’ll be back here more when I’m more myself. Started antibiotics today, beginning to cough a bit tonight. Is that good or bad? Too much to think about. Be well. Good night.

Added Albuterol today. It helped. Didn't help having a lot of sweet for breakfast, and sleeping through lunch. Baked fish left under a warming cover for over an hour does NOT encourage any appetite for any lunch. Rule 1, liquids. Rule 2, eat right. Rule 3, rest. Gotcha, nurse.

Everyone is glad to see me at meals, in the halls walking back and forth. Each says hi... asks how I'm doing... wants to tell me their news and get comments in return. Folks! I can't breathe just walking, let alone walking & talking! Then they all say "You look pale." Really? 😲

Out with the old antibiotic, in with the new, starting tomorrow. The original hasn't changed a thing. And a blood draw tomorrow (4am ugh!) to get a better handle on what's wrong. Almost no change from a week ago, except my lower rib cage hurts sucking for air after exertion. 🫁🌪️

Total room lockdown again. Everyone. Covid in the house. Residents and staff. No dining room. No group activities. Not even window family visits. Unknown duration at this time. Hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving Day travel.

To hospital Thanksgiving day, finally home to assisted living late tonight. Bad pneumonia, had 1.4 liters fluid drained Monday. Follow up to doctor next Friday, just day by day til then. Be online when I have energy. Stay well my friends, I think the world is out to get us. 🤪

Good night folks... a bit sad, a bit tired. Think the first caused by the second. Think I'll have a Klondike, to see if that helps. 😇

Concentrator now in socket that backup generator runs in case of power outage. Peace of mind! Both 2-hours tanks empty with travel time, waiting time, lab work, doc visit, drive thru lunch, quick drug store stop by daughter. Scary world, needing 6 liters per minute to breathe.💤
