The approaching storm is knocking on our door. Heavy rain fall, low snow and high winds are expected. Please be prepared for any sudden changes that may come your way.

Lots of rain in Tuolumne County this morning, SLOW DOWN and give yourselves extra time. The roads are slippery out there.

One way traffic control on State Route 108 from Lime Kiln Road and Old Wards Ferry Road for Bridge work starting Wednesday, February 19th until Friday, February 21st. It will begin daily at 9pm until 6am. Please plan accordingly if you need to travel through the area.

There is another storm approaching this weekend with projected rain and snow at higher elevations. There is a planned chain control check point on State Route 108 on Sunday March 2nd. Be sure to carry chains. State Route 108 continues to remain closed the snow closure (snowpack).

Mother Nature is back with some wet and snowy weather. Slow down, turn your headlights on when your wipers are on and BUCKLE UP!

There is another storm due to move in tomorrow producing heavy rains, strong winds and lots of snow. Please be prepared and know the roadway conditions can change quickly. Drive safe and buckle up.

State Route 120 is closed at the Yosemite National Park gates on the Tuolumne side due to the storms. There is no ETA at this time on when it will be open.

Tuolumne Road between Soulsbyville and Black oak road is blocked with vehicles. Please use an alternate route!

State Route 120 through Yosemite National Park is now open however chains are required. Tuolumne Road from Soulsbybille to Black Oak Road is open. Please drive carefully l.

CalTrans has roadwork planned on State Route 108 from Crooked Lane to Old Wards Ferry Road starting on Sunday, March 23rd through Friday, March 28th from 9pm until 6am. Please plan accordingly.

A few roadway lane closures. April 1st - April 3rd State Route 49 on the New Melones Bridge 8am - 3pm. State Route 108 at Olds Ward Ferry Road April 1st - April 4th from 9pm - 6am for bridge work. Please plan for some delays if you are traveling through the area.

A few more roadway lane closures. April 8th - State Route 49 on the New Melones Bridge 8am - 3pm. April 9th - State Route 120 on the Tuolumne River Bridge from 8am- 3pm for bridge work. Please plan for some delays if you are traveling through the area.

State Route 108 is planning to open to Kennedy Meadows this Friday (4/18/2025) at 2pm.

State Route 108 continues to be open to Kennedy Meadows. Caltrans crews are working several hours a day to make their way to the top of the pass.
