State Route 20, west of the Colusa County line near Mile Post Marker 41.50, in Lake County is temporarily closed in both directions to facilitate a helicopter landing for an injured party from a solo vehicle crash. Please be prepared for slowing or stopped traffic in the area.

**UPDATE* One way traffic control is now in effect at the crash scene in order to recover the vehicle. Please use caution in the area and slow down.

Lake County, State Route 20 near Mile Post Marker 36, East of State Route 53 in Clearlake Oaks, is closed due to Big Rig truck crash blocking both lanes. Please expect significant delays and consider using alternate routes. There is no estimated time for reopening the highway.

**UPDATE** the Big Rig truck is on the shoulder and not blocking the traffic lanes as originally reported.

Happy Thanksgiving, California! 🦃🍁 As we gather with friends and family today, the California Highway Patrol reminds everyone to celebrate safely. If your plans include alcohol, please designate a sober driver before the festivities begin. A simple choice can prevent a tragedy.

Expect delays on southbound State Route 29 near Spruce Grove Road-north (Lower Lake), caused by a two-vehicle crash. Traffic is being diverted around the crash on Clayton Creek Road. Caltrans is responding to assist with traffic control.

**UPDATE** The crash has been cleared and both directions of State Route 29 should be moving.

**ATTENTION** State Route 29 south of Bottle Rock Road is closed in both directions due to downed power lines and trees. Please use alternate routes and avoid the area. PG&E and Caltrans personnel are in the vicinity and working on clearing the highway.

State Route 20 near Mile Post Marker 39 (Cache Creek) in Lake County is closed in both directions due to a head-on crash. Please drive slowly or avoid the area. There is no estimated time for reopening.

If you see a big rig and trailer on its side at State Route 29 near Siegler Canyon in Lower Lake, do not be discouraged. A big rig delivering gravel and sawdust overturned while turning into a private driveway. There are no injuries and the truck is not blocking the roadway.
