Interlude George Sand’s relationship with Chopin became platonic at Mallorca in 1838. - Then arrived Jenny Lind, whom Chopin tutored in piano and singing in 1841-1842, met again in 1848-1849, and finally married on his deathbed. Their love story is portrayed in the 1937 Paderewski film:
