On 16.07.2025,Customs at Trichy Intl. Airport intercepted 2 Kuala Lumpur bound PAX on flight OD224 & recovered 403 live Indian Star Tortoises from their trolley bags.The tortoises & the PAX were handed over to the Trichy Forest Office for action under the Wildlife(Protection)Act.
