Beautiful memorial service today in remembrance of those we have lost from our UC community in 2022. I appreciated the opportunity to gather and remember them, especially UCPD Dispatcher Cindy Shipp.

Yesterday, the Public Safety leadership staff attended a retreat focused on our vision, mission, values and goal alignment, along with leadership development and team building.

Yesterday Police Chief Teresa Theetge and I, along with members of UC Public Safety, Student Affairs and Cincinnati Police Department, got out and spoke with some of our students living off campus to remind them of the importance of being good neighbors ahead of the upcoming semester.

I appreciate the invitation to share some of the work Public Safety has been doing lately with Faculty and Staff Senate, UC Student Government and UC Graduate Student Government at their annual joint meeting last night.

I wanted to thank UC Student Government for putting on a Town Hall event yesterday. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and hear more about safety, housing and transportation at UC.
