Beautiful memorial service today in remembrance of those we have lost from our UC community in 2022. I appreciated the opportunity to gather and remember them, especially UCPD Dispatcher Cindy Shipp.

This week is National Police Week. I wanted to share my appreciation for the hard work UCPD officers do every day. I also wanted to reflect on the sacrifice of officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others. youtube.com/watch?v=M6881I…

Yesterday Police Chief Teresa Theetge and I, along with members of UC Public Safety, Student Affairs and Cincinnati Police Department, got out and spoke with some of our students living off campus to remind them of the importance of being good neighbors ahead of the upcoming semester.
