Such an honor to speak at the #MTGI1 launch event on behalf of EUMETSAT - representing all my colleagues back in Darmstadt, some of whom have been working on this Programme for 14 years already 🛰️

#MTGI1 launched without a hitch! We couldn't be happier. The boosters separated beautifully (it really was an impressive sight!), the other passengers were gently let go... And just now we got confirmation that the solar array deployed successfully!
