US 97 Blewett Pass has reopened Thursday (9/5) morning. There is flagger-controlled traffic with pilot car at the summit (milepost 164-165) due to continued fire activity. Please be patient and do not pass or pull over in this section and be alert for fire and maintenance crews.

US97 Blewett Pass is fully open to traffic but fire activity is still present just South of the summit between MP 163 and MP 164. Drivers are reminded to be alert for fire and emergency vehicles that will be working in the area. Use caution when traveling through the fire zone.

SR 97 Milepost 151 Kittitas County, a 2-Car collision caused a brush fire. Blewett Pass will be closed for at least 2 to 3 hours.

An event at Rocky Reach Dam will mean significant traffic on US 97A north of Wenatchee Friday evening (6/20). If you're driving Wenatchee to Chelan, please consider using US 2/97, otherwise plan for flaggers and longer travel times and please be patient with fellow travelers.
