Tomorrow is going to be 17-21 degrees during the Ratoath half marathon. I wont point out the obvious tips, but Id adjust your mindset. You’ll inevitably run slower tomorrow. This isnt a cause of fitness concern. You’re not unfit. You dont need to panic for your autumnal marathon.

The deed is done. Going big for my first unsupported ultra cycling race, the Transatlantic Way Ultra. 2500km/6days non-stop along the Wild Atlantic Way next August. Just me, my music, a couple of spare tubes and a big fucking point to prove to myself. #transatlanticwayrace

Say what you will about Meath CoCo but these new public use ice baths are a credit to them and certainly out of the box thinking! Like their bike share scheme where bikes are found scattered in ditches like flagons of Linden Village the night before the Junior Cert results!
