Baxter boys and girls win the Iowa Star Conf track meet tonight. 4 meet records! Great night to be a BOLT!

The Baxter boys track and field won the ISC meet for the 2nd straight season. The Bolts won the 4x800 relay. Carter Smith won the discus with a career-best 151-1, which is 10th in Class 1A. #iahstrk

Bolts win the home opener tonight against North Tama 7-0! Colton Moffit gets the complete game shut out, giving up only 2 hits and striking out 10. Cody Spurgeon and Jace Bottorff both go 2 for 2, driving in 3 runs combined. Aiden Johnson with a big RBI double in a 6 run 6th.

Bolts take an 8-7 win at the conference leader BCLUW. @NolanH1ll gets the win in relief. Cody Spurgeon scores two runs going 1-2 with 2 HBPs. Colton Moffit goes 1-2 with a walk and 2 RBIs, including a game winning sacrifice fly in the 7th that put the Bolts up for good.

Bolts take the first round district game against Colfax, 4-0! Colton Moffit and Cael Wishman combine on a one hit shutout with 15 Ks. Wishman adds two hits. Hayden Burdess walks and scores twice, swiping two bags. Baxter will play Collins Maxwell on Tuesday at 7p in Collins.
