Interview article on my postdoc project and future research interests, presented at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre SWC. So grateful to Hyewon Hyewon Kim for putting my responses together, Sepi Sepiedeh Keshavarzi (@sepikeshavarzi.bsky.social) for hosting the seminar, and Group Leaders for thoughtful feedback!
Very excited to start working with the amazing team of editors Nature Neuroscience !
Happy to share our pre-print from the Harvey Lab Harvard Medical School! We show that mixed selectivity (conjunctive coding) for a specific memory and sensory cue allows flexible decision-making during navigation in mice. Such code exists across the posterior cortex centered in RSC. (1/4)
And it's a wrap for Abcam's Epigenetics in the Nervous System Prof Ana Pombo's Max Delbrück Center! Thanks all speakers and participants for making it a great meeting!
How does posterior cortex support flexible navigation decisions, and how are the underlying functions organized across areas? Shih-Yi Tseng and I collab in this Harvey lab paper, with optogenetics excellence from Charlotte Arlt and Roberto Barroso Luque. A 🧵 link: urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https…
