We tracked down people who were there the night Erie County Sheriff's Chief D.J. Granville damaged 8 vehicles but faced no charges. They said Granville reeked of alcohol and had beer bottles scattered on the floor of his county-owned pickup truck. wgrz.com/article/news/i…

Good read by Sandra Tan. I’ve heard “the plan” is for the sheriffs to drag this out until August so Granville can retire. Probably pension-related (he was a NFTA and BMHA cop before joining ECSO).
