I'm not the biggest rosé drinker & don't buy into the over hyped Provencal ones, but have to say rather like this one. Think a year's ageing does it good too, though I know many seem to think they have to have the latest vintage & nothing else!

On my own tonight, so will knock up some student food before the footie. Grabbed some odds and sods from one of the racks of wines that prob should have been had by now.....but which one? Erring towards Burg but Gassies has to be opened at some point!! Wasn't great 15 years ago!

Quite a drinkable Saumur ... But looking forward to this tip top Malbec made by a great old friend.

Not usually a 14% white drinker at all. But this Chenin is big, fruity and hides the alcohol very well.... Very nice drop

An old label (not known anyone go through as many labels as these guys). In a really good place at the moment. More people should age their NV.

These 2 should do for Sunday lunch. Not sure the Issan 1996 is as good as the 1995, but we'll see. And the fake Durand seems to be doing a sterling job

Another night of hardship. My host said he cocked up on the port and opened a Fonseca 1992 instead of a Taylors 1948 - easy mistake I guess. 🤷

Foie Gras mi-cuit, apple quince on walnut toast. Absolutely delicious. Best I've had in a long time....and quite the surprise to have in the Balearics.

Some of the best tuna I've had. And this Mantonegro is pretty good too (though not with Tina!)
