The WSP is holding a statewide emphasis on Sept. 27 in honor of fallen Trooper Christopher Gadd #927, who was killed after being struck by an impaired driver on March 2, 2024. Before the incident, he messaged his detachment that he would meet up with them after "One More Stop."

3 years ago—One of the hardest days of my athletic training career. Waiting in a hospital room with an athlete as he wondered about his friend. I sat with him until his parents could get there to break the news that his friend had passed away. 💔 Remember life is precious 💜

New chapter starting tomorrow. Grateful for the opportunity and excited for the possibilities to come. 💜🤍🩵🐾
