IMO codex should've been included as an expansion slot card for MST. The buy-in to play Assassin has continued to be prohibitive even after Surgical got a reprint. There's no reason I should have to spend that much for a few ~recently released~ non-legendary, min-rarity cards.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the period of "powering down" of Flesh And Blood yielded one of the best metagames we've seen (HVY). MST once again upping the powerlevel and bringing us a rock-paper-scissors format has felt like an unhealthy shift for the game.
