John is really the one who lead me into the neurodegenerative disease field. He is an excellent scientist, mentor and a really funny person. It is heart breaking that we lost him. We will all miss him a lot. His impact on this field and on everyone who knows him will last forever

Portrait of Virginia Lee and John Trojanowski unveiled at Penn Medicine tonight. In her speech, Virginia said they got a lot done bc they would “eat, sleep, and sh*t science.” 4letter word + red suit + foundational work in #neurodegeneration — VMYL is just legend!! ❤️
