MJ was on 3 different cams last night, neighbor’s cam and saw him twice this morning. I hope he’s got a bit of smarts to see another bday! 😬

Wild sequence of events last night in the IL hardwoods! Called son to let him know I let an arrow fly & to meet me in middle of cut corn field. Didn’t show…cables snapped on stand as he was getting down. Very thankful not hurt worse, very scary! Made me realize deer meaningless

Please, please check all aspects of every stand prior to season and each use before stepping into. And please use every tool available for your own safety & your loved ones peace of mind! Most importantly, do not let haste interfere with any of the above…could’ve been tragic!

Here is a pic of BB from last year when he was in flex mode! 💪 When we field dressed him, we truly do not believe we’ve come across a longer deer and his neck was silly!

This was early video of BB back in 2022 where he gained his nick name. Anyone care to guess what the B’s stand for? 😬

There were some great guesses and please don’t think less of me but this deer was a known diddler so Boner Boy was fitting. 😝 He was the longest deer I’ve come across & had a wild, unfitting barrel chest. I believe last year was his heaviest & he may have lost few chasing.

Always fired up to get a FaceTime at work! Usually means a positive happened outdoors and it was…Luke was able to close chapter on an arrowed deer in MI 10days prior. Same dog/tracker found it while tracking neighbor’s deer and sent pin…wild! Happy he was able to gain closure!

Where art doesn’t quite meet function!?! Pretty wild…thoughts?
