1/Published in @NAR_Open, the Challis Group have developed a new technique for rapid cloning & editing of gene sets. Their method enables editing of genes sets from bacteria to be done more easily & rapidly than CRISPR/Cas9 & has a broad range of applications in bioengineering.

2/ These editing protocols are very robust & easy to implement, taking advantage of efficient recombination in yeast, & enable multiple genes to be edited in parallel, streamlining the process. Read the paper: academic.oup.com/nar/advance-ar…
