Remember when Gamepass was $10/month and you got Xbox published games day one… that was less than 2 years ago

Xbox Game Pass for 30 bucks? Are they insane? These price hikes on game pass, consoles, and games themselves are just pricing people OUT of gaming. No more "I'll give it a try" because of these prices. Absolutely wild to see how bad it's become, and prices will never go down.

With the Xbox Game Pass price increase, it’ll now cost $360/yearly to play Call of Duty day one on the service. It’s probably cheaper now to go back to Game Pass Essential ($10/monthly) for online access and buy games outright if you don’t play many titles.

I'm basically out of words for Xbox at this point. With two hardware price hikes in a single year, a failed attempt at $80 games, going multi-plat, and now a major Game Pass price bump, they've eliminated quite literally every competitive advantage or bit of appeal they had.

Looks like Xbox Game Pass had a 50% increase. Microsoft is not pro consumer and they want to make more money, no one should be surprised here. These companies do not care about us, they care about our money. That is all.

I've had nothing but the highest tier Xbox Gold/Game Pass subscription since 2007. EIGHTEEN YEARS. After hearing about the latest price hike, I couldn't cancel #XboxGamePass fast enough. Good-bye, Xbox. Thanks for the memories.

Premium locking Black Ops 7 behind the ultimate just opens up a can of worms for the future of the service. Unless you actively play just via Game Pass and/or buy a TON of stuff digitally. You're better off dropping the service at this point and just buying what you want.

Xbox Game Pass is no longer the best deal in gaming. Most expensive console on the market with the most expensive subscription. Cancelling my subscription today, unfortunately I just don’t see a universe where Game Pass is worth this much

Cancelled my Xbox Game Pass subscrption. This was the first gen where I didn't buy an Xbox but I was still using Game Pass on PC, Now I am cut off from this brand & I have 0 desire to ever own an Xbox console or service again. RIP to what was once my favorite consoles ever.

$30 a month is too steep in a world where everything is already applying pressure to consumers. Game Pass Ultimate in the UK has gone from £18 to £23 - which doesn’t feel as bad, but I feel for my friends in the States already going through it. Fortnite Crew can GTFO too.

Cancelled my #XboxGamePassUltimate and retired my Series X because Xbox Game Pass Xbox Phil Spencer would rather add garbage that no one asked for to justify a ridiculous price increase instead of doing whats right for the players. Let’s start using my PS5 and Switch 2 now!
