This is the whole point of ioc_container This is how all open source libraries should be. They should do one thing with simple code You’re never locked in. You just fork it if you want something different

In my career, I’ve heard so many say ā€œyou can’t do XYZ because bla bla blaā€ some authority says so Time and time again, I’ve ignored the advice and proved them to be completely wrong This is the basis for osprey lang. It’s an experiment to see if the authorities were just lying

Unbelievable… So apparently the Claude integration in Visual Studio is good while Claude integration in Vscode is well, GitHub Copilot Why? Microsoft still peddling an IDE tied to Windows that only C#/C++ devs can stomach?

Want to read up about algebraic effects in osprey? Basically working. Unfortunately, the playground is broken but I should be able to fix it tomorrow and you’ll be able to see AE in action. I believe this will be a game changer that puts Osprey on the map ospreylang.dev/spec/0018-alge…

What do you say to people that refuse to believe that AI coding assistants work? When you can easily demonstrate something and put it right in front of them, but they still refuse to believe their eyes, what do you do? For some people the cognitive dissonance is too loud

Did you know that Cursor Background Tasks is basically exactly the same thing as Devin? You can check out your repo in the cloud and have as many parallel AI tasks running as you want? Yes, we’ve hit the next phase of AI coding assistance!

Christian Findlay (@cfdevelop) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Not much luck with Cursor background tasks at all. Claude Sonnet 4 Max seems to be way dumber there than working locally, even though it chews tokens like you wouldn’t believe

Christian Findlay (@cfdevelop) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Pro tip: use GitHub Codespaces with Cline or Roo Code instead of Cursor background tasks You get the same outcome but you will be running on a well configured container instead of whatever Cursor throws together

Got a nice .net project coming along… What if you could write SQL functions in a really nice modern language that works on any database platform, including SQLite, Postgres and SQL Server Impossible? Nope. Doable.
