Having written this, I get a new appreciation on how smart and brave Varela and Humberto Maturana were. Not easy to go against 5 centuries of cognitivist bias. Happy one of my awards is named after Maturana.

Congrats to the Top 10 papers on mycorrhizal research for September-December 2024. With my search, I know that up to 600-700 mycorrhizal papers are being produced (and many more I guess). Which is A LOT. Thanks to the voting panel. It is nice to see such high-quality research!
