Maybe we should regularly remind that anime color palette used to be limited by makers' catalogues. In the old days, anime studios bought necessary colors from the makers and distributed them to the coloring studios. Unique/ new colors were used only in special cases.

Was just watching the original Perfect Tides dev playthrough for the nth time, is fate! As I have written about at length before, PT is amazing - arguably the best portrayal of a terminally-online 2000's era teen in an interactive VN around - so I am much excite for the sequel

I don't think this is actually that complicated! Voters very consistently take 'time' to sort out their opinion on more vague phenomenon, and local elections aren't national. Biden was already unpopular in 2022 but he wasn't on the ballot. Turn out was ~15% lower, etc.

As always, will emphasize that while this is "true" in some sense, people miss that in some ways (not all!) the online is authentically superior to IRL. People are, essentially, overrating community. Community gives things that online cannot, but you must acknowledge the tradeoff
