We're looking to contact the family descendants of John Kelly, Celtic player from 1888-1889. We've looked at the family tree of John so don't need help there. If you think you have a family link to John Kelly we'd really appreciate you getting in touch.

We're also looking to contact any descendants of the Wild Rover himself, Dan Doyle. Dan had no direct descendants but we've read of people who say they have lineage to Dan's wider family. We've been unable to trace them previously If you know of anyone, please get in touch

Saddened to say that my great friend and mentor Pat Woods passed away peacefully and without pain in his sleep last night. It was a real honour to know such a gentlemen and to be by his side right up until the end. God rest you Pat there was nobody like you 🙏🏻💚🙏🏻

Last night saw the passing of Celtic historian Pat Woods. A dear friend and mentor, he was always ready to support and encourage any aspiring Celtic authors with his in depth knowledge on all matters Celtic. We shall never see his likes again. RIP 🍀
