I met with Prime Minister Fiala to celebrate the Czech Republic's 25th anniversary in NATO and our defense partnership. We discussed support for Ukraine because Czechs know Putin’s ambitions don't end there. Together, we're committed to bolstering freedom for people everywhere.

🇺🇸🇨🇿PM Fiala's visit to the USA included meetings at the CIA, discussions with President Biden President Donald J. Trump, and engagements with key lawmakers including Mike Johnson on the support of #Ukraine and #Israel. The two-day diplomatic tour aimed to strengthen Czech-US relations.

🇨🇿 The Czech Government approved the Pension reform. The proposal of Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka includes a gradual increase in the retirement age and a lower indexation of pensions. 👉The main opposition ANO movement disagrees with the proposed changes.

Poland’s ruling Civic Coalition elects Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski Rafał Trzaskowski as its candidate for next year’s presidential election. Trzaskowski scored 74.75% of the internal member vote, defeating foreign minister Radek Sikorski Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 on 25.25%, total vote 22,126
