LW Grade 2 took a trip through time (and hamlet!) during “Salute to Congers!” After studying local history in social studies and taking field trips to the Haverstraw Brick Museum and Rockland Lake State Park, #ClarkstownCSD students hit the stage with songs showcasing the area.

LP Grade 4 led a moving Memorial Day celebration, singing patriotic songs and sharing facts about the day. Under the direction of music teacher Dylan Fau, #ClarkstownCSD students honored our fallen heroes with heart, pride and powerful voices. 🇺🇸 🌹

The BD Memorial Day parade moved indoors, but the spirit marched on! The band filled the halls with music, closing with a powerful performance of “Taps.” From classrooms to corridors, our #ClarkstownCSD students proved that remembrance doesn’t require sunshine, just heart.❤️🤍💙

Congratulations to teacher Frieda Levitas for being awarded a NY Agriculture in the Classroom "Grow with Us" Grant! Thanks to this opportunity, WG received three Tower Gardens. “We will teach the life cycle of plants and work to promote a farm-to-table experience,” shared Frieda.

The skies may have been overcast, but the energy was sky-high during the first of many #ClarkstownCSD field days! From tug-of-war to relay races, WG students yesterday showed sportsmanship and spirit all day long. Stay tuned for more outdoor celebrations in the weeks ahead!
