The mention of the Florida Citizens' Alliance in this article should note the group's ideological leanings: radically, hatefully anti-LGBTQ and anti-Islam. They also don't believe science and every year lobby for legislation to teach non-science in science classrooms.

No doubt the anti-LBGTQ, anti-science, anti-Islam Florida Citizens’ Alliance will try to influence the Florida Department of Education K-12 standards review. We’re hoping the FL DOE and Ron DeSantis don’t listen to them.
