The local boys got their first win Cooperstown All Star in several years against the big city clubs. Great day for baseball!

CCS Baseball starts off the year with a 2-1 win over Sauquoit. Kalen Dempsey goes 7 IP, 9k, 4H allowing no runs. Also goes 1-3 at the plate scoring a run, and game-wonning RBI as Frank Panzarella scores. Aaron Katz picks up the W in 2 IP, 0ER and 5 Ks.

CCS Baseball beats Little Falls 15-7 behind the Katz brothers. Jr Aaron Katz goes 3-5 with 4 RBI and Sr Ben Katz adds 2 hits and 3 RBI. Kalen Dempsey notches 3rd win of season go 4 IP, 3 ER and 9 Ks. Team moves to 4-0 on young season.

CCS Baseball to be honored in September. The 1999 team, the first to win a sectional title in school history, will be inducted along with its ace, Guerin Blask, the programs all-time leader in pitching wins. Congrats!

Cooperstown gets back in the win column with a 6-1 win over a good Herkimer squad. Kalen Dempsey struck out 11, allowing 6 hits and 1 ER to earn his 4th W of the year. Aaron Katz goes 2-3 with 2 RBI, and Panzarella 3-4 with 2 runs to lead the offense.
