For those interested in details around the high-level syntax of the #opus audio codec, you can now inspect Opus files with GPAC OSS: either "MP4Box -dxml opus.mp4" for MP4 files or "gpac -i file.opus inspect:deep:analyze=on" for Opus files, Ogg files, or else. #Opensource

The File Format group at MPEG group is responsible for many standards, e.g. the Emmy-winning #ISOBMFF or #HEIF. It is sometime difficult for non-MPEG members to follow. Now, it should be easier. A public page github.com/MPEGGroup/File… tracks what's happening. Hope it helps!

Just updated the GitHub page github.com/MPEGGroup/File… that lists all work items in the MPEG File Format group. New editions of major standards coming up: ISOBMFF 8th edition, NALU FF 7th edition, HEIF 3rd edition; and lots of new amendments too. Check them out!
