1800-11-2356 quitline is playing an important role in #Tobaccocontrol. To raise awareness of quitline an Essay Competition on the occasion of #RepublicDay was organized. More than 160 essays were received & first four winners were awarded certificates, trophies & prize money.

It is reported that 1.56 million cases and 0.87 million cancer deaths will occur in India. 1 in 9 people will be at risk of developing cancer. The most common cancers were oral, lung, and prostate in males, and in females, breast, cervix uteri, and ovarian cancer.
