Educators are tasked to educate children. We are expected to know what is needed to train the mind. How many of us are practicing mindfulness? Were you trained how to focus in your teacher training courses? We need to have a steady & balanced mind to settle the untrained mind.

Teaching remotely is challenging but the alternative is risking our safety. I would rather see my students safe than struggle less to teach. If your an educator, be mindful of your words. So much negativity. Let’s offer hope instead of complaining! Everyone is struggling. Pause

The assignment was to write a positive thought for students to put in their room when they get up. One student drew this 😳 I asked so you don’t want to come to school? He said yes. I said, “Just wanted to understand” 😂 He drew another picture.

First week off from work and enjoying it with my grand daughters. It reminds me of when I was raising my kids. It’s a very different experience because you get to really be in the present moment with them rather than be consumed mentally with the stress of providing for them. 😂

Today I will practice more contentment. I can be more content today than yesterday. I am letting go of small things that irritate me because I realize those small things add up to a bad attitude. 😂 #optimism #mindfulness
