Teamwork made the dream work when Castleton Elementary's 6th-grade math classes created 3D shapes out of string!

Earlier this month, 5th graders presented final research projects for Women’s History Month (March) & NCAA March Madness at an exhibit in the CES Library! Students picked a women's basketball player who played in this year’s tournament & did deep dives to learn more about them.

CES was fortunate to receive tree sapling donations again this year (Red Oaks, to be specific) for students to plant! If planted & nurtured properly, these little Red Oaks could be up to 20 feet tall by the time some of these students graduate!

This month, Reading Teacher Mr. Murphy & 5th grade student Mason Caloro announced that CES raised $11,252 during this year’s Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region fundraiser – the most CES has ever raised in this annual campaign!

Mrs. Pryde & Mrs. Beaudoin’s students did such a great job @ the Poetry Palooza! Each wrote poems throughout the spring & chose their favorite to read aloud @ this event attended by their families. Plus, all the other poems they wrote were set up on display boards @ the event.
