I've been seeing some free seminars/workshops on twitter lately for science/coding. If you know of any, or are hosting some, will you please send my way? I want to colloate a list and make a blog post to share with students! I would like these to be online / over zoom.

It took me SEVEN years to figure out that you can save a ggplot as a vectorized .svg file ggsave("file.svg"). The svg file can be opened on powerpoint and it will be completely vectorized, even text are still recognized as text boxes! No more recreating plots on illustrator!!!!!

Had the privilege of banding and deploying transmitters with Kelsie, another member of the Weegman lab, in the Dakotas. Highlights include sitting in a blind for a rocket net shot, banding my first wigeon, wood duck, and green-winged teal, and seeing my first western grebe!
