Lovely day visiting Bolton Priory as part of the IMC_Leeds excursion I did not brave the stone crossing and judging from those who did, I made a wise choice

Reminder that at 9:00 Tuesday I’ll be talking in the session “Epic Women: Women's Voices in Early Medieval English Literature” Join me in room B.22 of the Parkinson building to hear me speak on women’s speech… among other things!

I would like to thank everyone who joined our morning session on Epic Women today! I thank IMC_Leeds for having me back, the insightful Wendy Hennequin who opened the session and Erin Sebo for organising/moderating. A full room and many questions! Yay!

And the end of another IMC_Leeds I’m so happy to have been able to come the last two years. I’ve met so many scholars who used to be faces over zoom. Wonderful papers too! But I must say I’m ready to rest up and that was the vibe in this quiet little photo

Got to Cambridge this afternoon too late to do much but I have managed to spend the afternoon walking around the botanical garden and having some much needed antisocial me time after back to back conferences

Most of the Cambridge colleges are currently closed to the public for various reasons, but it’s been nice to do a walk around nonetheless

The last two weeks have been London to Oxford, to Manchester, to Leeds, back to London & to Cambridge with papers, networking, a LOT of admin & thesis work between. I’m exhausted but it has been wonderful seeing & meeting everyone & sharing research! One week left, then home.

A lovely day spent strolling with Erin Sebo in and around St John’s College, Cambridge. Our highlight was probably the salad we had for lunch but I think others would find these pictures of medieval things more exciting!

I would like to extend my appreciation to my examiners Prof. Diane Watt and Prof. Francis Leneghan for their efforts, valuable feedback and compliments. The biggest thanks to Erin Sebo and James Kane for their support over this incredibly challenging but fulfilling journey.
