What a whirlwind week at #SLEEP2025 in Seattle! Grateful for the chance to share exciting science, cheer on my amazing @cashlabusf trainees, debut SHINE Science Center to the sleep world, reconnect with friends & colleagues, and meet many new faces. Already excited for Baltimore 2026! 🧠💤


Had a great time presenting at the USF Health Medicine Sleep Medicine Research Lecture series today. I shared new updates from my Women's Health Collaborative funded study examining sex-specific sleep & pain risk factors for cognitive dysfunction across menopause.




🎓 Officially Dr. Costa! HUGE congrats to CASH Lab’s Amy Costa, PhD on defending her dissertation examining sleep-related correlates of the objective/subjective cognition relationship in older adults. Dr. Costa is off to a T32 postdoc Pitt Center for Sleep and Circadian Science this fall. We are so proud!! 💤🧠🎉
