Tasty treats are growing along our verges! Did you know that you can eat the flower as well as the leaves of the wild garlic plant? Our salads have just got a whole lot prettier.

We commissioned @evecampbelltextiles to design and hand print some table linen for our lodges. We think they look very gorgeous paired with a drey workshop bowl.

As plant families go, umbellifers are pretty amazing. Besides being beautifully constructed, they attract insects better than anything else. Enjoy a walk round our meandering paths and the abundance of insect activity.

Arrived at the wonderfully appointed Carry Farm where I’m looking forward to a hot shower. It’s amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. All of a sudden things aren’t damp anymore, the tent feels airy and the spirits lift. Of course the beautiful landscape helps too. 😊

Wherever I pitch my tent, I make my home. What a wonderful view. 😊

Good morning from Carry Farm where we are bathing in the red skies of a very promising morning.

Despite the squirrel Tufty Fluffytail being instrumental in teaching children road safety, our squirrels are notoriously bad at it. We have put up a few signs to remind everyone to help them out, although hoping they cannot read and don't think they have to do the slowing down!

We could not be more excited about our bespoke Eve Campbell fabric currently rolling off the printer at the Centre for Advanced Textiles at Glasgow School of Art. I will be making the fabric into stunning curtains for our lodges. You will not know where to look!

Strangely basket like and reminding me of our families settee from the 70's, the jumpers I make from our Hebridean sheep's fleece are outrageously cosy.

Our lucky guests staying at Carry Farm this week have a stunning new oak kitchen to welcome them. We think our Carry Farm Hebridean sheepskin looks gorgeous alongside the colours of the Eleanor Pritchard rug.
