Grade 4/5’s have been busy dying wool with their own natural materials. They have turned out beautifully and we are ready to start weaving tomorrow! Thank you to Ewa Sniatycka, our artist in residence, who has been leading us in this amazing project!

Gathering on na’a and enjoying the feeling and sounds this summer solstice. Ss joined a whole school smidge and then shared the ways they have given back to the earth. We also sang the Chickadee and Owl song, while students drummed. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay #WeAreCBE

We were so fortunate to have one of our 4/5 students share the significance of her jingle dress today. She has been jingle dancing since she was 3- a dance of prayer and a dance of healing. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay
