A partial sun halo as the sun rises on my webcam facing East. A fresh morning with temperatures down to 5c. It will get up to 18c in the South but just 13c further North.

First hosepipe ban is coming for parts for Meath as reported by LMFM RADIO and at present no real rain forecast for next 2 weeks. Every year I ask when are we going to start investing in more reservoirs and water storage for all that rain we do get 🤷‍♂️

A lovely day now across the country but cooler for most with temperatures ranging from 13c to 19c. It’s not a day for the shade though with that sneaky breeze.

Gardeners take note of risk of frost, especially Sunday night and Monday night. A huge amount of people asking about May 10th and weather models show a risk of some showers at present but it’s low risk for now. Rainfall amounts still looking low for next 10 days.

Plenty of sunshine again Sunday but some cloud in the East and Midlands, warmest in West and Southwest but cooler elsewhere. A warm day today getting the Greenhouse kitted out 🥵

High pressure set to stay in control of our Weather with very little rainfall forecast for Ireland over next 2 weeks. Other parts of Europe will see the rain though. Beyond 7 days subject to change but this is latest as of Saturday 3rd May.

Another lovely morning here and many areas waking to sunshine but a few spots under cloud. A fresh morning with temperatures down to 2c earlier this morning. Cloud will increase in parts of East later, warmest in Southwest.

Lovely Sunday and this fine dry spell looks likely to last for another 7-10 days at least. Possibly warming up as we go through next week too.

Plenty of sunshine across the country but no great heat. Clouds reflecting on the River Barrow in Carlow this morning at Saint Mullins.
