Around 100,000 unpaid carers in Scotland are currently living in poverty. Thank you to Paul McLennan - MSP for East Lothian for supporting the pledge that no carer should be in poverty because of their caring role. #CarersCantWait


People with support needs in Scotland pay over £40 million every year in social care charges. This is putting many disabled people and their unpaid carers at risk of poverty. Thank you Jackie Baillie and Foysol Choudhury MBE MSP for supporting an end to care charging. #CarersCantWait


In the last 2 years, 42% of carers centres in Scotland have received no increase in their funding from local authorities. Thank you Claire Baker and Martin Whitfield MSP for supporting better and secure funding for local carers centres and young carer services. #CarersCantWait
