Thanks to Colm Gildernew MLA for his support for carers at todayās Assembly Committee for Communities. Unpaid caring has an enormously damaging impact on carerās finances and Carerās Allowance isnāt fit for purpose. The Carerās Allowance Recognition Payment would lift thousands out of poverty.
