All the talk going into the season was this team will just outscore everyone. The issue is that hasn't happened in the biggest games and the defense isn't good enough to get stops down the stretch. The one bright light is that it still isn't March yet.

Fun fact - Purdue has the EXACT SAME adjusted defensive efficiency rating per Bart Torvik as they did this time last year (97.9) The only difference is now that's good enough for 28th nationally instead of 43rd.

I just can't believe how pitiful the defense of this team has been in the biggest games this season. Coaches need to take accountability. Allowing 87 PPG at home across the 5 losses should just never happen. Oh and Jacobsen just cannot see the court in the postseason.
