Antonio Mancini was born #OnThisDay in 1852. Isabella and her husband Jack first met Mancini in Rome in 1895. They bought the pastel, "The Little Groom" (found in the Blue Room), and arranged for the painter to come to Venice to paint Jack's portrait. 🎨 : bit.ly/2RPbA2h
